You are invited to join the Post-Seminar Tour that will proceed after the conclusion of the conference portion of IWMS-24. The two-day tour (August 29-30) is arranged to enable participants to observe examples of the wood processing and manufacturing industry in western Oregon. The planned itinerary is:

Thursday August 29

• Start from Corvallis
• Murphy Plywood (manufacturer of hardwood plywood products)
• Arauco MDF (manufacturer of medium density fiberboard products)
• Catered lunch in Eugene
• Willamette Valley Company – Pre-Tec (R&D and robotic systems)
• Return to Corvallis

Friday August 30

• Start from Corvallis
• Weyerhaeuser Santiam Sawmill (high-production, automated sawmill)
• Picnic lunch in Silver Falls State Park
• Freres Lumber (veneer and mass plywood panel (MPP) producer)
• Return to Corvallis

If you wish to join the Post-Seminar Tour, please include this option within your registration and reserve your hotel room for two extra nights.

Note: The tour itinerary includes visits to working industrial facilities. Operational factors at these facilities may require last-minute adjustments to the planned schedule.
